About the Accommodation
Your hosts, Richard or Dee, will greet you on arrival at Cycads on Sea Guest House.
This spacious thatched home is set on a hill covered with green lawns, succulents and cycads, an easy five-minute stroll from the main beach. Set in a separate guest wing, there is a Honeymoon suite and 4 en-suite bedrooms, each with a private entrance and patio with wonderful views of trees, birds and garden and 3 of the rooms also have wonderful sea views. The rooms are all equipped with TV’s, bar fridges and tea/coffee trays.
There is also a breakfast wing, where light breakfasts are serve between 07h00 and 09h00 daily. This is also an ideal venue for small off-site conferences. Guests can enjoy their favourite sundowner in our comfortable guest lounge or on our private cocktail deck where guests can relax and gaze upon breath-taking views of the sea, the village and the Kouga mountain range.
Guests can fill your leisure hours with golf, tennis, bowls, yachting, and canoeing or fishing – deep sea or angling from the rocks. Canal cruises and guided tours can be arranged. Port Elizabeth Airport is only a 1.5 hour drive away, with Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve less than two hours away. Cycads on Sea is the ideal place to start or end your Garden Route visit.
